For learners

If a course, event or online module says it is CPD accredited, you should be able to check that for yourself.

This section explains what our accreditation covers, how to verify a certificate, and what to do if something does not add up.

What accreditation means

The difference between accredited CPD, a regulated qualification, and a certificate that only records attendance.

Check a certificate

How to verify an accreditation reference printed on a certificate, and what to do if the reference does not match our records.

Find accredited CPD

Search the register by provider, by learning activity or by accreditation reference.

Accreditation is not a qualification

Accreditation means a learning activity has been assessed against our Standards. It is not a regulated qualification, and it does not by itself satisfy a requirement set by a professional body or a statutory regulator. Always check what your own body requires.
