This page sets out what the information on this site can and cannot be relied on for.

Our status

CPD Accredited is an independent accreditation body. We are not a government department, a statutory regulator, or an awarding organisation. Accreditation confirms that a learning activity has been assessed against the CPD Accreditation Standards. It does not confer a regulated qualification, and it does not replace any requirement set by a professional body or statutory regulator.

Nothing on this site should be read as a statement that CPD Accredited exercises statutory powers, or that an accreditation satisfies a legal or regulatory requirement. Where a requirement applies to you, check it with the body that sets it.

Guidance is not advice

The guidance we publish explains how assessors interpret the Standards. It is general, it does not take account of your circumstances, and it is not legal, professional or financial advice.

Following our guidance does not guarantee that an application will succeed. Assessment is against the Standards, on the evidence supplied.

The register

The register records the accreditations we have granted and their status at the time it is viewed. It is accurate to the best of our knowledge, and it is updated as decisions are made.

An entry on the register tells you what was assessed. It does not tell you that:

  • the activity is currently being delivered;
  • anything else the provider offers has been assessed;
  • the provider is solvent, insured or otherwise fit to trade;
  • the activity is suitable for you specifically.

If you believe an entry is wrong, tell us.

Where this site links to another organisation, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content. A link is not an endorsement.
